Customer order missed

I have a question I had a customer that placed an order
1. I am the market manager and didn’t get an email that the order was placed
2. It is not listed on the “tab” list of orders placed
3. The customer has an email that she placed the order

Please help

    I would need to know more. What customer? What did the email have for an order number?
