we are not receiving emails when orders are placed.
Good Morning!
When we opened the market this week, managers are not receiving
confrimation emails about orders that have been placed by
customers.
I also placed an order this morning, and i did not receive a
confirmation email about my order.
Did something new happen to the program this week?
Thanks,
kathy Whitlow

You are using an AOL address for your market, and AOL has made changes, yes: http://postmaster-blog.aol.com/2014/04/22/aol-mail-updates-dmarc-po...
This affects you and your emails, since you are sending emails using an AOL address, but using my servers instead of yours. The best way to fix this would be to use the optional locallygrown.net address I provide. Another option would be to find another email provider that doesn't mind sending messages using their address from other servers. Gmail allows this still, I believe.

John, Looks like bellsouth is having problems today.
04/29/14 10:57 AM Will retry in 600 seconds: [email blocked] → [email blocked] 'Stones River Market -- Sales Notification' Server response: 450 450 mx.bellsouth.yahoo.com backlog too large to queue [domain may be overloaded or down]

Since this is still open I thought I would add something else about emails. For some reason Bellsouth/Yahoo is marking most of the sales orders I receive as spam. No rhyme or reason to this either.
Thanks
John

You'll need to complain to bellsouth, though I'd be surprised if it does any good. Those messages come directly from them, and we have to comply with their demand to remove you from the mailings under federal law.
Honestly, rather than trying to get them to fix it, I'd just open a gmail account and use it for your market.
